Diving trips in Malaysia. The island is located in the northwestern region of the state of Sabah, about 300 kilometers from the coast. It is a coral atoll with an unspoiled nature and is one of the most popular destinations for diving trips.
The proposed Resort has 76 Superior rooms and 10 Deluxe rooms equipped with every comfort. Guests have access to a fully equipped PADI dive center that offers courses up to Dive Master level! This also has 10 catamarans / motor boats with which in 10/20 minutes you can reach most of the diving spots.
Former military base of the Malaysian Navy, this atoll can be reached in 1 hour by flight in a small plane with 8 – 10 seats. On the island, in addition to the airstrip, there is only the small resort which has 76 superior rooms and 10 deluxe rooms. Despite the rather simple look at first sight, all accommodations are equipped with modern comforts such as satellite TV, fridge, private bathroom with shower, telephone. The restaurant serves Asian and international cuisine, while the bar is available for cocktails and soft drinks. Both are located in the central building along with the reception, gift shop and conference room. For leisure, an outdoor swimming pool is available to guests.

Thanks to the isolation it enjoyed, Layang Layang offers practically intact coral reefs, with gigantic gorgonians, where it is possible to observe schools of barracudas, turtles and on the outermost reefs numerous pelagic species such as tuna, jacks, hammerheads, gray sharks, sharks leopard. Stingrays and stingrays are regular visitors, and with a little luck you can spot manta rays and whale sharks. The internal lagoon, 20 m deep, offers good opportunities for macro photography enthusiasts. Visibility is remarkable, from 30 to 50 m, with an average sea temperature of about 27 ° during the year.

Departure from Italy for Kota Kinabalu with scheduled flight. Dinner and overnight on board.
Arrival at Kota Kinabalu airport, handling of bureaucratic formalities, meeting with the local assistant and transfer and accommodation at Hotel Jesselton 3 * hotel or similar with bed and breakfast treatment. Rest of the day free.
Early in the morning transfer to the airport and dedicated flight to Layang Layang Island (it does not operate every day), the only Malaysian atoll, located 300 km northwest off Kota Kinabalu and reachable only by flight with a small 8-10 seat plane. Unico atollo della Malesia, è caratterizzato da un reef che si eleva dai 2000 m di profondità. Grazie all’isolamento di cui ha goduto, Layang Layang offre barriere coralline praticamente intatte, con gorgonie gigantesche, dove è possibile osservare branchi di barracuda, tartarughe e sui reef più esterni numerose specie pelagiche come tonni, jack, squali martello, squali grigi, squali leopardo. Razze e trigoni sono visitatori regolari, e con un po’ di fortuna è possibile avvistare mante e squali balena. La laguna interna, profonda 20 m, offre buone opportunità per gli appassionati di macrofotografia. La visibilità è notevole, dai 30 ai 50 m, con una temperatura media del mare di circa 27° durante l’anno.
