The seabed around Lankayan offers unique spectacles and is inhabited by strange and rare creatures, so much so that it is a real paradise for macro enthusiasts: some species found here have not yet been cataloged. There is no coral reef but a vast plateau, where the reefs are all made up of fairly young coral, not more than 15 or 20 years old. Usual sightings are represented by large schools of barracudas, sharks and real clouds of large fusiliers, as well as large brightly colored gorgonians, sponges and giant groupers. Moreover, every night some turtles reach the beach to lay their eggs. Lankayan offers about 40 dive sites, all within a short time from the resort, including the two wrecks of the Lankayan and Mosquito Wreck (an armed barge of the Second World War), inside which there are many glass fish, lion fish and even platax . Wide variety of life especially in shallow areas: seahorses, nudibranchs, sand divers, flying gurnards, crustaceans and cephalopods, frog fish. Around the reefs you will find parrotfish, barracuda, snapper, stingrays and leopard sharks. Whale sharks can also be seen from March to May!

Ampia varietà di vita specialmente nelle aree poco profonde: cavallucci marini, nudibranchi, sand divers, flying gurnard, crostacei e cefalopodi, frog fish.
