In the language of flowers and plants, plumeria, better known as frangipani, symbolizes beauty and simplicity. These are the adjectives that best describe the atoll of Vaavu Thinadhoo and Plumeria boutique guesthouse, about an hour and a half by fast boat from Male. A local island, populated by a few hundred Maldivians residing in small colorful houses, where you live in contact with the local culture and you can observe glimpses of everyday life. The structure is simple but equipped with all comforts and is surrounded by an iconic white beach and a lush coral reef; about 50 spacious and tastefully furnished rooms (which in November 2017 will reach about 100 with the inauguration of the new villas), most of them with a balcony, all equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, WIFI, set for the preparation of tea and coffee, minibar, safe. Guests have access to a Spa, gym, swimming pool, and 2 excellent restaurants where they can enjoy traditional and international dishes, a PADI diving center and water sports. Numerous excursions and activities are proposed: fishing trips, dolphin and whale watching, snorkeling with sharks and the wreck, excursions to uninhabited atolls, dinners on the boat.
