The magic of diving at Lembeh – White Sands Resort
Diving trip to Indonesia at the White Sands Resort: The White Sands Beach Resort Lembeh is managed by Eco Divers, which has been operating in Indonesia since 2000 and was also the first operator in North Sulawesi to offer combined diving stays in Manado / Bunaken Marine Park and Strait of Lembeh, since 2004. The resort is located on the west side of the Lembeh Island, on a small peninsula overlooking the Lembeh Strait and Sulawesi Island, with a small hill behind, which guarantees peace and tranquility. In fact there are neither other resorts nor local villages nearby. The resort is unique in the Strait, no other resort is located on the shore of a white beach, 160 meters of private beach available only to guests of the White Sands Beach Resort Lembeh. The 10 spacious cottages, for a total of 12 rooms. All rooms are equipped with private bathroom and individually controlled air conditioning, a wardrobe set in the brick wall and a large terrace to read a book or sip a drink in the silence of the resort, interrupted only by the lapping of the waves. At guests’ disposal, next to the restaurant, there is also a relaxing SPA, to enjoy and be pampered by expert staff with fantastic traditional Indonesian massages after an exciting day full of underwater emotions or relaxing on the beach. For divers, Eco Divers offers a top-level diving center perfectly equipped for every need, and at the end of the resort, there’s a room dedicated to photographers and video operators and also an educational room for PADI courses. Eco Divers is in fact a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort and offers all PADI programs and courses from Bubblemaker to Divemaster. Next to the photo room, there is a room where you can store the equipment after diving. At the end of the day the staff will take care of the rinsing, and the next morning the equipment will be clean and dry and the diving center staff will take it to the boat, mount it on the cylinders and it obviously will take care of changing the cylinders after each dive, guests will only have to worry about getting on the boat for the fantastic muck-dives that make the Lembeh Strait a unique place in the world, famous for the macro: probably the best destination of the planet for macro photography, the Lembeh Strait is also known as the world capital of muck-diving. Diving in the Lembeh Strait does not need any introduction, on the seabed of volcanic black sand an incredible biodiversity will leave you speechless for the amount of encounters you can make with the strangest and rarest forms of marine life. Lembeh is home to an incredible abundance of strange, rare and fantastic sea creatures that can only be observed here.
