A diving trip dedicated to the Egadi islands, easily accessible from Trapani with daily ferries With over 50 sites the Egadi Islands offer diving in caves, canyons, shoals, walls, wrecks and archaeological sites, ideal for all tastes and abilities, this program of only 5 nights is designed for those who want to treat themselves to a long weekend to discover a jewel of the mediterranean. There is an enormous variety of biodiversity that can be found in these waters, from the bright colors of the parazoatus sponges to the most sought-after species, such as the gorgon stars, and many nudibranchs await you! The extremely professional and long-experienced team will welcome you in the port of Favignana (San Leonardo), the boat is 10 meters long and 3.5 wide with two 200 hp turbo engines, electric generator to recharge the devices, also has a large cockpit stern with comfortable benches where each diver has a dedicated space for their equipment, large solarium for relaxing moments, fridge for your drinks and marine toilet with shower. Arrival at Trapani airport and transfer to Favignana. Accommodation at your hotel in a standard room with breakfast and rest of the day at leisure.
Breakfast at the hotel, after which you independently reach the pier (approx. 150/200 metres) to embark on a day's diving (two dives included per day), on a specially designed boat with a covered cabin, external awning, sundeck, refrigerator and bathroom on board. The boat is very comfortable with on-board recharging and the divers' equipment can remain on board during the entire stay.
On the boat we will accommodate a maximum of 13 people between divers and accompanying persons (with group diving maximum 6 divers), accompanying persons for a small supplement of 40 euros which also includes snorkelling equipment to enjoy during the lunch break (in high season priority is given to SUBs)
Return to the hotel, free dinner and overnight stay.
Excursions take place on the main island of Favignana or Levanzo, Sporadically, with a minimum of 6 people on site, a fuel surcharge may be requested to make the fullday in Marettimo.
Dive day programme
Departure around 08:45 from the main harbour of Favignana after the first dive you will stop in a quiet cove where you will have a long lunch/relaxation break of at least 2 hours (lunch is packed and under your own responsibility and management). During the break you can swim, snorkel or make use of the boat's spaces in the sun or in the shade. Around 14:00 we head to the second dive site. Return to the harbour around 16:30.
In addition, for non-patent divers, it is possible to experience THE BAPTISM OF THE SEA: this takes place on a fullday basis, those who undertake this experience will dive only once with a dedicated instructor on a one-to-one basis after a careful briefing we will dive in controlled conditions at shallow depths for approximately 30 minutes. (fee per person 70 euro).
