Mabul, an islet off the Malaysian coast, is famous for its "muck dives". It is located a few kilometers from the famous Sipadan, the “uncontaminated masterpiece of art”. Go on your diving holiday in Borneo now!
Located directly on the white beach in a quiet corner of the island, the Resort has been specially designed for Divers. It has 30 local-style chalets equipped with every comfort. The PADI 5 Stars IDC Dive Center offers courses for all levels, has Scubapro equipment rental and cylinders with INT and DIN connections.
The dives that can be done in this area are very different from each other. In the Mabul area the sandier seabed allows encounters with small inhabitants of the sea and therefore satisfies lovers of macro photography, while just 20 minutes by boat you reach the Sipadan Marine Park, included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, home of some of the most amazing marine species on the planet. This small island, immersed in the Celebes Sea, has a rich and exciting marine life: the island is in fact the emerged part of an underwater volcanic cone and therefore has a vertical seabed that goes down to 800 meters deep, creating caves and cracks where a large amount of flora and fauna find their habitat. Wall diving, drift diving and beautiful canyons allow you not only to enjoy the beauty of its corals and small and colorful inhabitants but also to swim among schools of jack fish, barracudas, tuna and hundreds of turtles, or to meet some hammerhead, whitetip and leopard sharks. However, there is no shortage of moray eels, anemones with related clown fish, manta rays and rays that swim among colorful gorgonians and sponges. But one of the natural spectacles that made Sipadan famous is the silver carousel of thousands of barracudas swimming in circles: entering and swimming in the slow vortex is an incredible emotion!

Pulau Sipadan
