A diving trip to Malta means diving among wrecks, caves and corals. But as all diving enthusiasts know, Malta has always been considered as one of the ideal destinations for those who want to practice this activity in every season thanks to its always mild climate and a spectacular underwater topography. But Malta is also a land full of history, nature and culture. In fact, in this journey we combine the passion for the sea with the discovery of a land that has a lot to offer both underwater and on land. In addition to diving, we have planned a trekking itinerary to discover the history and nature of this island. All the cities of the island offer a unique historical and architectural heritage, so much so that they have been chosen as the location of various cinematographic works, such as the “Gladiator” and the “Game of Thrones”. But this proposal is above all for diving, so why choose Malta for diving?
But there are many other reasons why we can consider Malta as a great choice for diving lovers:
Thanks to this itinerary it is possible to discover, in just 5 days, the beauties of this island by dedicating three mornings to diving and an afternoon to trekking between history and nature, accompanied by an Italian-speaking guide. The management of the diving center is also Italian.
Arrival at Malta airport and private transfer to your hotel in double room with a view on the country. Breakfast is included.
Maritim Hotel 3 * sup
Located in the north of Malta, in the Mellieha area, it is modernly furnished, and it has over 200 rooms, Spa, 3 swimming pools, one of which is heated and a restaurant. Ideal starting point for diving and not far from Gozo.
Morning dedicated to diving.
In the morning dedicated to diving and in the afternoon a short 3-hour trek to learn the history and the nature of this island.
Our favorite Short Trekking is what we like to call “Hiking between History and Nature”: an excursion during which we will encounter Phoenician remains, Punic-Roman structures, palaces and strongholds of the Knights and fortifications of the first and second world wars. The route winds along the north-eastern coast in a loop that also covers short portions of the hinterland.
Last morning dedicated to diving. Rest of the day at leisure for a little relaxation.
Breakfast and check-out, in time transfer to the airport.
